Fees
New Urbanism Online Course 1:
$335 – Includes unlimited course access for 12 weeks from any where in the world and a UM Certificate of Completion. CNU Members are eligible for a $35 discount. See Step 3.
CNU Accreditation Exam 2:

**The CNU follows the same registration dates as the University of Miami.
Register
Step 1: Create UMID and CaneID
Before you register, you will need to create a UM ID and CaneID. Your UMID (C#) and EMPLID is required for registration, your CaneID is required to log in to the course. Please take note of all numbers/IDs before closing the browser page. Click here for step by step instructions on how to create a CaneID.
For more information on Cane ID, click here. You do not need to use your Social Security Number to create a CaneID. Click the link that says "I do not know my UMID or SSN." Click here for step by step instructions on how to create a CaneID.

Use your CaneID to log in to https://myum.miami.edu/signon.asp?DirectNav=ViewUMID. Please send your UMID (C#) and EMPLID to nuonline@miami.edu.

Step 3: Request CNU Member Discount
If you are a CNU member, send an email to nuonline@miami.edu. We will process refunds the first week of the course after confirming membership with CNU.
Step 4: Welcome
You will receive an email from mredu@miami.edu on the day course access begins with instructions on how to access the course.
Refund Policy
Refund requests must be made in writing (email nuonline@miami.edu) three days prior to the start of the course, and will be made less a $50 processing fee. There will be no refunds once the course begins. Transfer requests must be made in writing no later than three days before the exam period begins.
Other Information
1 The course registration fee allows course access for 12 weeks to complete the course and exam. The fee does not include books or reading materials required for the course. The course registration fee does not include CNU Accreditation.
2 CNU Members are eligible for a $35 discount. If you are paying by credit card, register through the link above, then send an email to nuonline@miami.edu to request a refund. Credit card refunds will not be processed until after the start of the course. If you are paying by check, follow instructions on registration form.
3 The exam certification fee allows access to the exam for two weeks. Those who register for the exam only will gain access to the exam at the same time as those registered for the course (i.e. If the course begins on April 20, the exam opens on June 15, and ends June 29, those who register for the exam only will be able to take the exam starting on June 15.)
