Suzanne M. Amaducci-Adams is a Partner in and Head of Bilzin Sumberg's Real Estate Practice Group. She has extensive experience in handling all aspects of commercial real estate and finance transactions, including acquisitions, mixed-use development, leasing, public private partnerships, commercial mortgage-backed securities, and loan restructurings. Suzanne is very active in the areas of marina and hotel acquisition, finance and development, and leads the firm's Hospitality Group. As part of her practice, Suzanne works with members of a cross-departmental team advising clients through all stages of Opportunity Zone investments, from fund formation, to operations, to divestiture.
Suzanne is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), a prestigious fellowship reserved for lawyers distinguished for their skill, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.
Suzanne has advised developers in the development of hotels in mixed-use projects and is involved with the purchasing, financing, management and sale of large real estate and loan portfolios owned by institutional investors, pension funds and publicly traded companies. Suzanne restructured more than $4 billion of debt secured by hotels. She has drafted and negotiated many build-to-suit, office, mixed-use commercial and specialty leases on behalf of landlords and tenants in Class A buildings and projects, including single transactions in excess of 150,000 square feet.
Suzanne has been consistently recognized by legal publications including Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, Florida Super Lawyers and South Florida Legal Guide. She was honored as a "Must Know Contact" in the real estate industry by Florida Trend magazine and was recognized as a "Woman of Influence" by Real Estate Forum. In 2018 Suzanne was listed as a "Distinguished Leader" by the Daily Business Review, and in 2015 and 2016 Suzanne was listed as one of South Florida Business Journal's "Power Leaders in Real Estate."
As an active member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Suzanne served on the Board of Directors of CREW Miami for over 6 years and is a past President of the organization.
Suzanne is an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law, LL.M. Graduate Program in Real Property Development and teaches Hospitality Law. She earned her J.D. from the University of Miami, cum laude, and her B.A. from Vanderbilt University, cum laude
