Ilya Gamer has led the origination and closing of over $600 million in equity for transactions totaling more than $6 billion in real estate value over the last six years, including over $1B in ground-up developments and $350M in acquisitions in South Florida. His extensive transaction experience spans multifamily, logistics, retail, office, lodging, and mixed-use assets across 17 states.
As Managing Director at Marc Belsky Ltd, a real estate private equity intermediary firm specializing in equity placement, Ilya joined to lead the expansion of the firm's client base across multifamily and other asset classes nationwide. Previously, Ilya served as Managing Director at CrowdStreet, a FINRA-registered real estate investment banking platform, where he was instrumental in establishing the firm's New York City & Tri-State Capital Markets office. In this role, he originated and led high-profile transactions with industry leaders such as Fisher Brothers, Property Markets Group, Extell Development, JDS Development, Dalan Real Estate, iStar, and Savanna, positioning CrowdStreet as a major player in one of the country's most competitive real estate markets.
Earlier in his career, Ilya held positions at Eastern Consolidated, an NYC-based real estate advisory firm, and Crown Acquisitions, a real estate investment firm that acquired and developed billions of dollars of high-profile commercial assets in global gateway cities.
Ilya holds Series 79 and Series 63 licenses and is a graduate of the Master of Real Estate Development and Urbanism (MRED+U) program at the University of Miami, class of 2012.
