Ilya is Vice President, Head of Sales at Flipspaces, where he directs the strategic vision and commercial execution of the company's US market expansion. In this leadership role, he leverages the firm's vertically integrated global real estate platform, which combines proprietary planning technology with international logistics, to deliver comprehensive design, construction, and FF&E for premium commercial, multifamily and hospitality properties. He is responsible for scaling the company's North American footprint, building upon a robust global track record that has delivered millions of square feet across three continents for clients including Accenture, Adani Group, P&G, Emirates, and Tata TCS, and is backed by institutional investors from the UAE, Singapore, and Japan including Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Crescent Enterprises’ CE-Invests, and Iron Pillar.
Previously, Ilya served as Managing Director at CrowdStreet, where he helped scale the platform from a Series B fintech startup to the category leader in online real estate investment banking. He established and led the NYC and Tri State Capital Markets office, and later expanded his leadership to direct the Florida office. During his tenure, he originated $600M+ in equity placements across 60+ transactions representing $6B+ in real estate value, and drove a companywide repricing initiative that restructured the firm's fee model, amongst other initiatives.
Ilya holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Miami School of Architecture and is a FINRA Series 79 (Investment Banking) and Series 63 licensed professional.
He lives on Long Island's North Shore, New York with his wife, two children and bulldog. He is passionate about the intersection of real estate, technology, and capital markets, and is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of industry leaders at UMiami MRED+U.
