Ann Pope Consulting, Inc. was founded in January of 2003. Ann E. Pope, a commercial real estate development, marketing and public relations professional, established her firm to provide project management, development services, strategic planning, consensus building/public involvement and marketing services to public agencies, municipalities and major corporations.
A 17 year veteran of The Rouse Company, Ann has extensive experience with high profile, politically sensitive, large scale projects such as the Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables, Kendall Town Center (under development) in Kendall and Bayside Marketplace in downtown Miami. Her experience includes directing the public approval process and public involvement strategies, commercial project development and management to marketing and public relations.
Ann Pope Consulting, Inc. client list includes the YMCA of Greater Miami, Allapatah YMCA, South Dade YMCA, Homestead YMCA, the MLK YMCA Pre-School. Past clients include Baptist Health South Florida, Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, and Miami Dade Expressway Authority to name a few.
Ms. Pope maintains several professional and civic affiliations that include membership in the Orange Bowl Committee, The Links, Incorporated, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She currently serves on the boards of West Kendall Baptist Hospital, Baptist Outpatient Services, and Baptist Health Enterprises.
Ms. Pope has numerous professional awards and recognitions. She was recently named one of South Florida's 25 Most Influential and Prominent Black Women in Business and Leadership and Most Accomplished Black Entrepreneur. Additionally, she has been featured as a Newsmaker in Miami Today, a Price-Waterhouse Up & Comers finalist and received the “Imagen Latinoamericana” Award for the Puerto Rican Executive of 1997.
A native of Puerto Rico, Ms. Pope writes and speaks fluent Spanish. She resides in Kendall with her husband Richard.
